Backflow Annual Testing Services

Backflow Testing and Reporting
Our local water suppliers require that backflow preventers be tested annually. Notices are mailed out to customers who have these devices on their water supply. These are required devices by our local water suppliers under certain conditions. Most commonly are properties with an irrigation system. If you have an irrigation system, then a back flow is required by law and must be tested once a year. Numerous residential and most commercial properties have a backflow preventer. We offer this service for this area.

Your Testing Professional
Backflow Test are required to be performed by a Certified Backflow Tester. This certification is completley separate from a Plumbing License. Having a plumber without this separate certification test your backflow would end up with a client paying again to have it tested by a plumber with the correct certification for backflows. Leon county, for some reason, will allow non licensed plumbers burt are certified backflow preventer testers, Test backflows, but they are not allowed to repair them. The results of this ridiculous rule is that if you hire a backflow tester who is not a licensed plumber, and your backflow test fails and needs repair, you have to call a licensed plumber to make the repair, and the tester to come back out and restest the backflow after the repair is complete. You can avoid this additional cost by hiring a licensed plumber who is also certified to test backflows. The test and repair could be completed in one trip. Saving you time and money. And that's our number one goal for all of our clients.
